The Quitting Smoking Chronicles: Month 4

It feels like yesterday, but at the same time, it feels like it's been forever. Most days, I don't even think about smoking anymore, but there are times when the urge to smoke is so strong that I find myself almost caving in. The only thing that stops me is the thought that the past months would have been for nothing. That if I was able to go through all that time without smoking, I can go through one more day. Today is one of those days. I wonder when (if?) these moments of craving will ever go away. It doesn't help that I know I have gained (and seems like am gaining) weight since I stopped smoking. Vanity at its worst, you may say. Sue me. It also doesn't help that I have been getting sick a lot since I quit. See Month 2 . You a quitter? How was your experience? *End whine*

What Do You Use Your iPhone For?

Before I continue, in case you're not familiar with a Brazilian Blowout, here is how the official website describes it.

Revisiting Mister Kabab - 10 Years Later?

Maybe less than that - maybe 7 or 8 years , but it still felt like flipping the pages of a book backward. I had gone to a PETA play ( 3 Stars and a Sun ) with my sister and her husband, and of course, food was part of the night. Since the play was somewhere in Quezon City - where we all lived for many years way back - we had our favorites, and it was really no surprise we decided on Mister Kabab. Cheap and good.

Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Bells & Whistles

"They" say "we" should get regular exercise. Whether it's jogging, walking or doing sports, it doesn't matter. What's important is that the blood gets flowing. So I bought into that idea and started exercising for real some time last year. Me being me, things might be going a bit too far. Or it may just be in my head. But...
