Why I'm Collecting Stamps for a Coffee Bean Journal

I don't normally participate in the yearly 'collect stamps for each purchase and get a journal for next year' campaigns of coffee shops. One reason is that I feel I spend more than I would if I just bought a journal. Another is that I end up not using the journal anyway; and most of the time they don't look good.

I've Been Down This Road...

I remember back in high school/early college times when my Mom would be singing and dancing to this song; she was obsessed with Ally McBeal, and I just didn't get it! A decade or so later, I finally started watching the series, and boy, oh boy...

Why "Jogging" Is Like Formula 1

I say "jogging" because I technically walk briskly most of the time. I have never been a walker - not the the type that bites people and turns them into moving corpses nor the type that goes on foot. Recently, however, I have been trying to do some things that I have been saying - for the longest time - I would do. And walking is one of them. The most conducive place for this activity, at least for me, is Legazpi Park, where there is a jogging path. It's not that big, but for noobs like me, several rounds of brisk walking, with intermittent jogging, is enough. Where does Formula 1 come in? I'm the Marussia (more like Sauber or Caterham, actually) of the Legazpi Park jogging path. Round after round, I could hear fast, heavy steps behind me, making it mandatory for me to stay to the right so they could pass. Just like those F1 teams, I get lapped. Lap after lap. Except that I get lapped in the second round, and I haven't done more than four rounds.

Blue

Blue used to be my favorite color back in high school, but for some reason, I became obsessed with red. But that's beside the point. I have been spending a little more time than usual on YouTube today, and I realized once again just how much I like blues. I wish I just knew how to play. While I play the piano and guitar (or used to), I am not much of a musician, but I really, really wouldn't mind picking up an instrument again. Browsing musciansfriend , that desire just gets stronger. In the meantime, I shall keep listening to B.B. King and his peers. Check out these YouTube playlists, and you'll probably be infected, too.

The Only Version of Frozen's "Let It Go" I Wouldn't Putting on Repeat

Metal guitarist 331Erock has done it again. I first discovered him when he published his metal rendition of the Game of Thrones theme song, and I've been following him on YouTube since then. Not being really a regular YouTube visitor, I missed out on this, although I saw Frozen pretty much soon after it came out. I liked it, but with everyone and his mom - and cousins, and dogs - singing "Let It Go" everywhere I go (even driving hours away from the city didn't help), the song kind of got old. This, however, is something else. What do you think?
