Of Audio Jacks, Food, and Christmas Bazaars

It's that time of the year again, when the city streets are lit up as if there were no tomorrow. Christmas songs are played in every restaurant, coffee shop, and mall - practically everywhere you go.

I wouldn't have dared to go out on a Friday afternoon during this season, especially on a payday Friday, but my sister was in town so we spent some time together.

First stop: lunch at Wee Nam Kee, my favorite stop for Hainanese Chicken (not that there are a lot of choices here).

Next up: look for an audio jack (long story), to no avail, although a musician friend might just have one.

An Afternoon at the Chelsea Market & Cafe Serendra

For the second week in a row, I've been waking up from hibernation. My Saturday was actually rather busy - two meetups in one day; and for me, that is a huge deal!
First stop, Chelsea Market and Cafe, although I did make a quick stop at the bookstore to check if they had the 2015 A Song of Ice and Fire calendar and Patrick Rothfuss's Slow Regard of Silent Things. I did the find the first (yay!) but they didn't have the book.

My Dermcare Hair Rebonding Experience

Dermcare is probably not the first name that comes to mind when looking for a salon to get your hair rebonded. In fact, I had never considered it till I saw a standee at the new Alphaland Building in Makati.
