The Family Does Sambokojin

August is a special month for our family, mainly because it starts with Mom's and Hannah's birthdays. This year, we did something different, something the little boys certainly hadn't experienced before. We went to Sambokojin, my current favorite buffet place. (It's no secret I like buffets. Who doesn't?)

So, on August the first, we went to pick up Hannah, Mark, and Achi at the airport as they had gone to the beach for Hannah's birthday. Their flight was horrendously late, though, so we had to wait at a coffee shop so that the kids would be comfortable somehow. Sam did enjoy picking out items on the menu with his Granny.

When Grown Ups Collect "Toys"

It's been a busy month for me, but I am thankful for the little pockets of time that have allowed me to get a little bit of fun. While I've always maintained that I am not one to like shopping, there is something about it - when you find things that you actually want to have.

I suppose even grown ups can have their toys, yeah? There are people who collect coins - antique ones, army challenge coins, or newly minted ones. There are people who collect LEGO. Whatever floats your boat, I say.

And here is the stuff that has been floating my boat recently.
