A couple of weeks ago, Sam and Eli went to the dentist for the first time. Well, it wasn't the first time for Sam, but it was for Eli. They had a blast - at least before the actual examination and cleaning. With a clinic like you can see below, it really is no wonder that the kids enjoyed themselves!

I have been wanting to get Sam some of these, but I haven't found any. I hope the other LEGO blocks I got him for Christmas will make him just as happy. I also took a look at
diabolo toys - a different kind of yoyo - but I think Sam's too young for them.
This toy, the kids really wouldn't stop playing with.

Sheldon Cooper would be so proud of Eli, for the little V just couldn't get enough of the train set!

Converting kid’s attention into playtime is a brilliant idea. You should also lead by example. Let her watch you. You could sit in the chair and let the hygienist clean your teeth or the dentist counts your teeth while your child watches. That would be awesome.

ReplyDeleteDental clinics with playrooms are very effective in convincing kids to have a regular check up compared to ordinary clinics. It makes the visit more fun for them, which takes out their fear.

ReplyDeleteIt's a great idea because it gives kids the illusion of being in a playroom and not in a dental clinic. I suppose one orthodontist Concord NC clinic has this gimmick too.
