Pack Like There's No Tomorrow

That is going to be my motto for today. Monday was just awful. I really tried to make the best of it, but things would not go my way for some reason.

Packing - we got about 1/3 done the entire day. All my old clothes (yeah the big ones would fit me like hip hop clothes now - that's the good realization) have been trash-bagged and sent home. I can't believe I have accumulated so much crap over such a short period of time!

The Internet - died on my in the middle of the day. At least the technicians actually came before the end of the day and fixed it.

Work - got a lot done since I started at 6 am, but the Internet failure kinda messed things up.

Gate Pass - should have gotten one earlier but in all the frenzy, I overlooked this and had to bug people at 10:30 pm so that they would let my dad take the truck out of the building with a couple of boxes and book shelves.

Today, we are going to focus on everything else that's left in the cabinets and the kitchen. I think it was a mistake to schedule sausages and beer night tonight as the house will be a mess and things that I might need could be in boxes by that time, but oh well, it's still going to be fun.

Yeah, pack like there's no tomorrow. That's what I am going to do.

  1. Ugh. Some days are just overwhelming!

  2. Mel - yep, this week's been that. Literally forcing myself not to panic.

Han - it's okay. Marlene's here almost everyday this week; she's almost done.
