They Are New Every Morning

I remember this song that we used to sing all the time in church..."the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning..."

It's a beautiful morning, and despite everything that's going on in my life, I am reassured that all the pieces of the puzzle will fall into place in time. The pieces may be different from the ones I want (or think I want). The pieces may be the same, but may fall into slots other than the ones I desire (or think I desire).

Knowing that there is a big picture and that even though I may not see it now makes it a bit better. In the meantime, I shall go about my daily business: go to school, enjoy my fat burner - walking around campus, do what I love - write, and enjoy the company of those I have been neglecting.
